UPDATE! We’re just living each month as it comes over here! As our squad just finished up our sweet time with various ministries around Guatemala, most of us just left from debrief and arrived in Honduras!!

Along with Honduras, a lot of change has occurred! We walked into debrief reflecting on the good and hard times with our teams and for me that was Oasis. We then had TEAM CHANGES! I am really excited and expectant to see what the Lord does with my new team, lightly salted, in these next two months in Honduras!

What are we doing in Honduras? I don’t have a ton of details as we’re just kinda waiting to see what things look like! BUT I do know a few things! First, we’re having ALL SQUAD month! So we will all be serving and doing life together this month! We will be living in our TENTS in the middle of the mountains in a town named Comayagua. Catracho Missions is the ministry we will be serving alongside as we help build clay ovens, build a road for the community and villagers, start the bases of a new church building a missionary training base and evangelize. It’s going to be two months of abandonment for sure, but I’m excited to see what the Lord is going to do and the relationships that will be fostered!

A little insight to what I’m expecting living wise…bucket showers, no communication outside of my squad, no power, limited seating and learning to get real acquainted with my tent haha! It will be an experience for sure. Although I am a little nervous to be living in such abandonment for two months, I’m also REALLY excited to see what the Lord speaks to me with every comfort I could run to be taken away. Im eager to see how our squad bonds in the midst of this crazzzzy adventure and how the Lord moves.

Another quick update: As I mentioned before, my most of my squad is in Honduras right now with the exception of nine of us! I am currently in Guatemala quarantining at the hostel we did debrief at due to exposure to Covid! Praying and hopeful that the rest of us will be able to join everyone on the 10th! We won’t have wifi or service when in Honduras, therefore I won’t be able to communicate with anyone until July! But praying for everyone and excited to send an update when I can!
