Hi friends and family!!

I know so many of you have been so sweetly asking if I have any updates on the World Race in light of everything going on in our world currently. I have been eagerly waiting to be able to give all of you an update, and now I finally can!

I will now be leaving for the Race in January of 2021!

Adventures in Missions anticipates and is praying that we will be launching internationally come early January! Although, they are unable to say for sure what our route will look like due to uncertain circumstances. The following are some of the routes that Adventures in Missions has planned for in the event that we are able to launch in January: Central America (starting in Costa Rica), Southeast Asia (starting in Thailand), Southern Asia (starting in India) and Southern Africa (starting in eSwatini).

What if we are NOT able to launch Internationally?

Obviously, this is a very uncertain time we are currently living in, and a lot could change from now until January. If the World Race does not launch internationally, there are two options I will be able to choose from:

Option 1:Launch stateside and serve local ministries around the U.S. staying with host families. If in the event it is safe for us to travel internationally, we will transition from the U.S. to international.

Option 2: Decide to prayerfully withdraw from the World Race altogether and follow God into the next season He has for me.

In case of option 2, what will happen to fundraised funds?

In the case that the World Race DOES NOT launch internationally come January and I come to the difficult decision to withdraw from the Race altogether, then my donors will have the option to request a refund from Adventures in Missions. (IF and when this becomes a reality, I will contact each donor and explain how this request can be made). In the meantime, I have full intention of launching with the World Race come January and will continue fundraising.

TRAINING

October 9-16th, I will be headed to Georgia to meet my Squad and experience training in order to prepare for launch! Through teachings, prayer, worship, scenarios and relationship building, I will step into further intimacy with the Father. Here I will receive training on how to partner with God to establish His Kingdom on Earth!

The Lord has taught me a lot in these past months and has stretched me in many and BIG ways. I have been pushed to uncomfortably sit in a space of not knowing what’s next. I am not going to say that it has been an easy space to sit in, in fact I have had a lot of confusion, frustration and loss these past six months, as I’m sure all of us have had in some capacity. Although I have experienced growing pains (some explainable and justified and some not), I am beyond humbled to say that this season has been a gift and so needed. I have learned more about myself, dared to go to places that I have avoided for majority of my life and felt the freedom to challenge my relationship with Christ and view of God. WOW…I am falling in love with Jesus all over again. No, it hasn’t been easy, but man has it been freaking worth it. I am leaning into what and where He is teaching and leading me. Taking each day and moment as it comes…challenging myself to sit in the uncomfortable space, meeting Jesus exactly where I am.
