My heart is heavy and uncertain of all the emotion I am feeling as I write this blog post. I know it is such a weighing, hard and devastating time for many of you as well as our country and world. I hope that each one of you is staying healthy and safe. As well as using this time to lean on the Lord BIG! I am praying for all of you, and if you have any specific prayer requests that you would like me to join you in, please reach out!

This time for me has been filled with a whirlwind of emotion that has left me feeling sad, confused, grateful, encouraged, restless, comforted, tested and some days I am left having no idea how I feel. One thing that I am sure of in the midst of everything, is that although my emotion may be fleeting and fickle, the Lord remains steady.  Although I may have no idea what the future holds, the Lord knows exactly what is going to happen through and at the end of these difficult times. On the days that I feel hopeless, confused or angry-I choose to cling to the truth and depend on faith.

It absolutely breaks my heart what our world is undergoing. That each country and place is dealing with their own trials and tribulations. I would love it if y’all would join me in prayer for at least one of the countries on my route. I will be posting something soon about each country on my blog and social media, as I feel strongly that the Lord has called me to this journey. Regardless of what the future holds, I believe that the Lord has placed all 11 of these countries on my heart to pray for. If you would please join me in praying for our world, country by country, that would be SO appreciated!

Additionally, a lot of you have reached out and asked me what COVID-19 means for my departure plans for the World Race in October. Adventures in Missions has been very gracious and diligent in their communication with us. They are heavily watching updates on the Virus and have not made any decisions, and most likely will not for many months from now. My prayer is that I will still be able to share the Gospel and the Lord’s love with each of these countries and my team, but I do not doubt the Lord’s sovereignty and plan. One change that has been made to my route already is that we will no longer be going to China, but Taiwan instead. I am very excited for this, but my heart is still heavy for the many people in China.

We have been reassured that if the World Race is not able to launch us in October, that every donor will be refunded! I love you all so much and I am so grateful for your support and would appreciate your prayers. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns!
