Sitting here now, trying to process all that the last week brought me. And reality is, I think I will be unpacking a lot of the truths and challenges for a while.
I just got back from World Race training camp in Gainesville, Georgia. There was a lot of emotion, all over the spectrum, leading up to this week. The World around us has been everything but predictable and stable. The challenge these past couple of months has been resting in that tension, while remaining and not fighting the peace which has been provided for this journey that the Lord has asked me to faithfully walk with Him in. Training Camp was a HUGE answer to my prayers and was just another reminder that this is EXACTLY where I am supposed to be!
Like I said…there is A LOT to unpack so here are a few highlights! There will be more blog posts to come as I continue to process it all!
COMMUNITY
Holy Cow!! I was BLOWN away by the people that the Lord placed on this Squad. I was so encouraged by each unique story and personality. Learning the hearts of these people was in itself so humbling and encouraging. I could not be more intrigued and eager to get to learn from each of these individuals!

MY TEAM
Throughout the week our squad mentor, leaders and coaches were observing and praying over our squad in order to split us into seven different teams. It is with these teams, I will be doing life daily with. I could not be more PUMPED for the growth and support there is to come with this group. I am so humbled by each of these girls’ humility, passion and vulnerability already, and I am ecstatic to see the transformation the Lord does through and in this team on the race.

CAMPING & ALL THE THINGS
OH…we also camped all week, took bucket showers, slept in the rain, made smores around a camp fire, sang worship, prayed over one another, shared meals with each other, hiked as a squad with our packs, and celebrated squad mates being BAPTIZED! PRAISE JESUS.
We also got a chance to experience some of the food and culture we may be encountering this next year! From delicious Thai food to crickets! …yum
TAKE AWAY
This week was the beginning of something transformational… experiencing and truly befriending the Holy Spirit. This week I said YES. Yes to my squad and my team for the next year, yes to being present where I am, yes to living out of a backpack, yes to being uncomfortable, yes to vulnerability, but most importantly I said yes to creating space for the Holy Spirit to radically transform my heart and my relationship with Him, the Father and the Son and how I choose to actively love the people I encounter each day.
THANK YOU
None of this would be possible without each individual who said yes to the Lord and to me, by choosing to be on my support team either, or both, financially and prayerfully. So thank you. If you’re not already on my team and would like to be, please reach out!!
